Got mine (Clearly White, 128) So far, so good. Battery life seems to be pretty good despite what the YouTubers have been saying. Pics are awesome (no surprise there), face unlock without a fingerprint scanner takes some getting used to (it's scary quick to unlock) Gonna push it hard this weekend and see what this thing can really do.

I'm curious if Google tries to create artificial hype?
The demand for the Pixel is not near as much as the demand for an iPhone, maybe close to the Note if you only consider Pixel fans, but in reality not really. Yet the first few weeks to a month they make it seem like they are sold out, as if you go to Best buy or even Google they show a delay in shipping.
But I'm thinking they intentionally hold so much back to try and build this anx. I say that because iPhone customers have no issue getting the iPhone they want within days. Yet I notice Pixel phones all the way back since the Nexus days that you can't see to find one. Yet if you hold off a month after release you get the color you want, the storage size, and at a much cheaper price and with an update to fix the issues Google should have fixed before release.
Patience is key with us buying On release Google phones ... Samsung has the best deals always for customers wanting to get on the latest ... it's not even close and why many are happy with Sammy along with this great device ..
I picked up an open box and save $$$. But this may not be enough. I just dropped a 25-minute segment on my thoughts about this thing. I started today's podcast talking about the Pixel 4.
