weird issue with old files on my phone

HI,
For some reason all of my saved videos and gifs on my external and internal memory have been shorten. A file that was once 12 megs, is now 7. I haven't updated or download anything during that time. For testing I did partition wipe and deleted everything without allowing it to resync my settings. Then I installed reddit/imagur and found the same file, made sure it played all the way through and downloaded it, it downloads, but for some reason it will not download the full file size. this is happening on any app. No idea what happened.

you are right, that is weird, does the files play on your computer?

They play find on a pc, and in any app, just when I download them to my phone, either internal or external memory.

opps, I should have been a bit clearer. copy the file back to the computer and see if it works. also, how are you getting the files on your phone, via sync or download from other sites?
