Weird Icon

I have an icon on my phone that for the life of me I can't figure out what it is.
It is on the right side and it looks like a handset over a keyboard.
This is what it looks like.

Have you tried going to applications/running services to see whats running. It may be an icon for an app. Or maybe take a screen shot and see if we can recognize it better.

yeah its the TTY mode is on. go to menu-settings-call settings-tty mode and see if it is on. This is the menu path on Droid X
