I'm running the GB (2.3.595 odex/rooted) leak. I want to disable the auto search / auto suggest option that comes up when I type in the stock browser address bar. I don't like it. Just want url entry not search. Even google has a way to turn the feature off. Any ideas?

I'm still looking for a way to disable bookmarks from showing up in the auto-results area, but you can disable search results in both the stock and Dolphin browsers.
For Android browser, open the Google Search app.
Menu> Search settings> Web, Google search> uncheck Show web suggestions. Also, note the Search history option to toggle personalized search history and the link to manage your personalized history, which you can also access from your desktop when logged into google.com.
In Dolphin, you can enable/ disable search suggestion under Menu> More> Settings> Dolphin settings>Search suggestions.
Again, related bookmarks will still display, which is a different feature and unrelated to history. I said more here you may find interesting.
