Watching my Directv on my droid.

If I purchase a Sling Box & connect it to my Directv can I watch it on my Droid.

Not yet. Sling has yet to release a slingplayer version for the Android OS, There are a few other posts here that mention them looking for Android savvy talent. I myself had it on my Q9c and do miss it. I'm hoping the Droid's sales numbers will light a fire under development decisions.

until slingbox is ported to android, try Orb instead. you can access your TV/pc using orb's site...

I play with my Droid enough as it is...if I could actually watch live television, I think my head would get stuck permanently in the looking downward position.

There's good news coming about this question . Though i'm not sure how long i will be, but there may well be an app for that at somepoint. So the Slingplayer won't be necessary :icon_ banana::icon_ banana:
