I also am looking forward to rooting and doing custom roms. I did that stuff with windows mobile. I just have to dig up my old version of rsd lite. I used to have the razr v3xx and was heavily into that scene. So hopefully the x will come soon so I can tinker.

I have the Dx as well. I do not know when you ordered yours, but I submitted my order on 9/7 or 9/8 and I received it on 9/15 and it said that it was back ordered till 9/21. You might not have to wait that long to be rolling with the X.

I ordered them on the 16th of september. verizon said they would be shipped on the 23rd. So ill have them on the 24th since they next day air them. By the way.... how do you change the avatar pic by your name?
