Waiting for my new droid inc 2

Ive been using the Droid x for almost a year and decided to change things up a little bit, what is the main differences with the phone (not talking about the look of it)

Size, speed, battery life, and because its android the main difference IS the look of it with the sense UI. Very smooth, no redraws, easy to access the screen customization with a single button. A large selection of HTC widgets is really nice as well. You will love this phone!

This post is Incredible 2

As much as I loved my X, I don't miss the lag. The Incredible 2 just feels 100x faster and smoother. The X can be made great with custom ROMs but the dinc2 just runs better stock vs stock. Now the big caveat is the radio/antenna setup in the dinc2. Motorola just has better signal strength/quality. The dinc2 is not as strong as the X when it comes to signal strength. The last radio update helped in good areas, but if you are in fringe areas, the Motorola just performs better.

I am not saying that the dinc2 is bad by any means. I think it is a classy looking phone for an HTC. I like the style of the X a bit more, but the extra RAM of the dinc2 and the smoothness is worth it. Plus this thing just sips battery compared to the X. Some people don't share my experience with the battery, but if you set it to CDMA only mode and don't use your screen at insane brightness then it lasts quite a while. On Sense I could get 3 full days out of it with moderate usage (YMMV of course). Sure the signal is a little lower in some areas, but I have not dropped a call on it since I got it in July.

I think that it is currently the best 3G phone on Verizon right now.
