Waiting for Google Music invitation

I'm new to Droid Forums and I'm not sure if this is the correct part of the site for this topic (I apolgize if it isn't) but I wanted to know if anyone on here has requested an invitation to Google Music, and if so about how long I can expect to wait to receive my invitation. Also, can I upload songs to it directly from my phone, or only from a computer? The videos I've seen don't demonstrate that part of it.

I know Google Music was getting ready to launch but I don't know if it did or not. Invitations? Well, I Amazon mp3 gives 20gb free space for your music storage and anything you purchase from them does not add any additional space on your storage area. Works well off of 3G I highly recommend it.
