Sweet! Wonder how long it will take them to release this or if they are going to wait until Froyo in early September.... at least they acknowledge it and are trying to fix it!

The "fix" will probably be included in Froyo. I can't see them doing a separate OTA just for this.

I have complained about this issue and recieved my 2nd phone which the fools at Verizon said had a fix for the speaker. Now they are sending me a 3rd phone which again they claim will have a fix for the ringer volume. Are they just BS'ing me so I will keep the phone and not return it within my 30 days? I cannot keep a phone that I cannot hear ring.
