Volume Button not Working

Hi,
The volume button stopped working, but I didn´t drop my phone Galaxy S3. I did switch from Sprint service to Straight Talk. Did that have anything to do with it?

Did you restart the phone?

Can you adjust in the volume settings?

Perform an FDR?

switching carriers should not effect the volume button, could there be lint or something stuck in the button?
