Video won't play in Gallery, but will in Files?

I have a small 8mb mp4 with h264 (256k/sec I think) encoding movie clip I made and it won't play in the Gallery.
In the Gallery, I've tried to play it with RockPlayer, double twist and the stock video player but none will work. It either says this file cannot be played on your device or error playing.

However, if I go to Files and navigate to the folder, it will play with RockPlayer.

Any ideas on how to get it to play in the Gallery? The thumbnail shows up but it just won't play. I've tried reboot as well.

Try using Quick Pik (free from market) as an alternative to the stock gallery and see.if it plays. Also, I use Mobo Player to play different kinds of files.
