Video Player won't work

It seems, out of nowhere, my phone will not play videos online or in my gallery. The screen goes black then the notification pops up that I need to Force Close the video player. I tried clearing data and cache for the player and it still does not work.

Any suggestions?

I get tired of the same stupid problems, among others. I downloaded MX player from the market. Works great. Lots more options and much more stable. Rarely have issues with it. It also will play just about any video files I ask it to.

Now don't get me started on the music player..POS..
