Who doesn't want more speed and features! Jelly Bean for the Droid RAZR HD has been leaked and it is pretty easy to install. You do not need to be rooted. Simply install the update.zip as described in the video.

Due to the locked bootloader... I doubt it would even install.

Well, it installs the the RazR HD without requiring root or an unlocked bootloader... I installed it to a bone stock, locked and non-root device with zero issues. Installed it to two of them actually.

Different kernel. Different processors.. so yes you would brick
