video camera problem

Hello
I am new on this forum or any forum.
I am having problem in my camera app when I switch my camera from still to video mod it automatically starts making video
With LED light open I can't do anything no setting options are available. Can anyone help or suggest any better app for still & video camera?

On camera screen swipe from left to right to bring up options wheels. Click on flash setting and select auto instead of on.

Thanks xeene but video recording starts the second I switch & no setting at all over there.

It's a setting on all the new Droids and the moto x. Mine does the same. Try the Google camera.

You have to do it on camera screen not video recorder screen.
