So more and more apps are coming out for Android that claim to mimic or even outdo SIRI. The Andy app is just another one of these apps. We have reviewed other apps that use voice search technology. Andy seems to be more responsive than Iris maybe thats because its new and not as many people are pinging its servers? It also seems to provide more relevant search results and may even throw you a few comedic curve balls. Overall this app was fun to play with, but I would stick to the Free version for now!

Way more than I need. Only voice control stuff I use is stock and Dragon Go.

So far I've found that Android Assistant has been the best but I'll give this a look.

This was posted using my Rezound.

John Hanson was the first president of the United States. This is a fact. He was the first president that was elected by congress. George Washington was the first president voted on.

I have Jeannie, but I'll give it a try.

UPDATE: Uninstalled it already. First time I opened it, it wanted me to install a Speechsynthesis Data Installer. OK, did that. Then when I opened it, it wanted me to install another Speech to Text app and Google Voice (which I already did).

I go a step further with Ivona and use the Australian English and it sounds so much better.

I couldn't understand what the Aussie voice was saying half the time. I am using Amy, the UK English voice. Kendra, the US English still sounded like a robot. But I guess thats why they have so many choices, so you can pick who you want talking to you.
