Mine on the 11th. IIRC, wasn't it set to be implemented on or around the 20th? We may have one more month until we see the increase. Still, I would have thought an email would have arrived warning (or notifying) me of the increase.
They can't increase it until they give you 30 days notice by law. In contract or not.
I have not seen anything yet as far as a notice or pop up.
I specifically went looking for articles and the only articles on the net all link back to the same original one which I find odd.

Just a little skeptical on this rumor as we have had several rumors in the past that never come to light, and there are always people claiming they personally got a notice or talked to customer service to verify it. Never ever seen a screen shot or image of a notice.

Are we still calling this rumour and conjecture? I believed the 13 different reputable news sites that reported this, bit I understand some people need more.

I'm not sure how much more proof needs to be added. News Sites are reporting it, Verizon is notifying people via their bills and popups when you login via the website and the CSR at VZW will all tell you it's going up $20 a month. Not sure where skepticism comes from with this. If one place said it's going up and no one else reported it sure I'd be but everyone is reporting it including VZW.
It's $20 bucks a month. That's nothing. I'm glad they haven't kicked off to a tiered plan. So now I can use as much data as I want.
Mustang02 thanks for the screen shot. That is the fitst solid thing I have seen posted. I have not gotten a notification of any kind yet and I have three UL lines.
When I looked at the news articles they all qouted there source as coming from the same article. Never saying they got the info confirmed from Verizon which is what I would do if writing a news article.
I am on a business account so I can't talk to anyone at Verizon except monday-friday 8-5 and I have been to busy to sit on the phone to get a rep on the line.
You would think everyone would get notified via pop up when logging in to there account not just some. This isn't a update roll out that is going to overload the system.
With computers today Verizon knows exactly who is on UL data and it seems like it would be really easy to implement a notice via pop up to all UL data customers or to everyone when they log on to their account.
Heck send out an Email.
Probably just another case of Verizon not caring about their customers so it is just kinda being implemented half hazardously.
"If any of your lines with an unlimited data feature are currently on a two year contract the increase will not begin until you complete your contract or enter into a new one"
Would the Best buy loophole extend us two more years if done today?
