Verizon Officially Confirms August 29th As Moto X Release Date & $200 Contract Price

Verizon has officially confirmed via Twitter that the Moto X will hit their network on August 29th. The 16GB version of the device will go for $199.99 on a new Big Red contract, and will initially be available online. Within the "coming weeks" it will hit VZW retail shelves. Although the Tweet doesn't confirm any other details, we suspect the first round of Moto X devices will be the woven white or black models.

I might be interested in the X if it had 32GB, but it would probably be $300 on contract. For that price I'd get the Droid Maxx. $250 would be a fair price though.
