No I dubt it. But att i believe they have 4g including the iphone 4 which is lte compatible. Att is going live with LTE too but verizon will be the first that rolls out LTE. I think for now verizon is sticking with CDMA phones. Google it, google is you're friend.
Good luck but if i'm you i would call verizon. I'm happy with my droid x and i baught it on august with 2 year agreement but less then a year on next august next year I will be able to upgrade and terminate my 2 year agreement without paying the 350 and phone is mine. By then they will have some awesome dual core phones 4g compatible. Oh and they will give me my down payment I did on the phone so i'll use that to get a new phone. dancedroid
LTE will roll out around November (probably after) and will be available in only select cities for now. They're hoping to have LTE nation wide by... 2012 I think.
As far as phones, any of Verizon's phone will work on the LTE network, you just wont get the 4G capabilities. There's speculation that Verizon will be getting 1 or 2 phones towards the end of the year that will be 4G/LTE capable.
The iPhone4/iOS4 is not 4G/LTE capable. It's just the 4th generation. So it can only do 3G... if I remember correctly.

Maybe its true but atleast we know att is going to use lte their just not ready to roll out, verizon would be the first one to roll out lte, really its not important to have 4g yet beside by the time its out we're gonna be capped just like att. A year or so internet was unlimited on att network now theier package is capped max 2gb on 29.99 package? 4g = more spending.
