Verizon LG G5's 11A Update Includes No Anti-Rollback

When you intend to mod your devices you always have to be mindful of what an update will mean for mods on your phone. Many times OEMs and carriers will patch known root methods as they work to make their devices more secure. Normally when they do this the remove the ability to roll back to a version which allows for such mods.

The 11A update for the Verizon LG G5 is out and according to known security expert and developer "AutoPrime". It does not include "anti-rollback". This means you should be able to update, and then later on if it is found that an earlier update is rootable you will be able to rollback to that version so you can root your device. Check out AutoPrime's full LG G5 thread below.
