Verizon droping the DNA for the HTC One?

I heard a rumor this morning that Verizon is looking into dropping the DNA for the HTC One. Has anyone else heard this? I was looking into getting the DNA while the HTC One would be what I got if Verizon did get the One.

I think that its just that, a rumor. No official word on when Verizon will even carry the HTC One yet alone drop the DNA. Even if they did the DNA is still a premiere device for some like myself. The only news I've heard today in the tech world is the over abundance of gimmicks on the Samsung Galaxy IV.

I had read that Verizon is planning to get the One but it would be at least a couple of months after it goes on sale with the other carriers. But that does not mean the DNA would be dropped. If anything the DNA would just go to a lower price point which is par for the course since it would have been out for a while.
