Vanishing Gmail Messages

Is anyone else having an issue with vanishing emails from Gmail once you've read them? First couple times I thought Id deleted in error, but I now know thats not the case. My email is not full so I know thats not the problem. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you see them in your all mail? I had this happen where I changed the label somehow.

They are not flowing into any other label...just gone. Both on mobile and on the "real" computer. Frustrating!
