Use Android as a web cam?

Is there any way to use an Android smartphone as a web cam either using the mini usb cable to connect it or wirelessly connecting it? It obviously is capable hardware considering it has a camera built in for taking pictures and video. Was just wondering if there was an app for this or any development on the idea.
