Usb tehering not working. Miuu 12.3

The changelog says that usb tethering wad fixed, however I can not get it to work. I've tried every kernel including stock, and it still will not work.

I'm currently using the wired tether app, but the changelog says they fixed usb tethering, I assumed that meant native android usb tehering.

Not always. I'm guessing the app works for you.

Personally I MUCH prefer the app to the built-in capability as the options are much better and I can have a link on my home screen for faster hookups.

The app has more options and you can access it faster, but I find the native tethering much more reliable and stable.

Except it's not working.

What kind of stability issues do you have? I've had zero since 1.4 was released that weren't related to my computer being moronic.

Yeah out sucks it doesn't work. The wired tether apk randomly disconnects me, and I have to stop tether restart it, sometimes have to restart my phone. This is on all of my computers. I wish usb tether worked, out would help out a lot if people that use it and don't know of wired tether.

What version of the app? I have 3G disconnects that frustrate me but I live in a really crappy signal area. I haven't had a program freeze like you described since I moved up from 1.2 to 1.4.

Its not that often, but it happens. I'm on version 1.4. 3g disconnects suck, I live in an area with ok service, but sometimes it just sucks. I just have to live with mediocre service because no one else has service.

sorry about this guys, when i tested it yesterday, it connected. I guess i did not do a thorough testing. ill edit the changelog, and see if I can fix it.

No problem, it shows up as connecting, but won't send data to the computer. if you need help testing a fix, I will help you.
