our phones use microusb. As for getting that pack, I would not. From my experience, they're cheap for a reason, they don't last long.
Also cheaper usb cables may or may not cause problems with the device. There have been stories of cheaper usb cables making the phone go crazy (lag, dialing on its own, not registering input correctly, etc.)

If you want a good car charger I highly recommend the Motorola rapid car charger.
