how can i paste a url like farm futures to a short cut to my home page. i put it in book marks but i don't know how to go directly to book marks either

If you want to add the shortcut to one of your home screens, open up your web browser, go to bookmarks and long press the bookmark you want the shortcut for - you should get a pop-up box with options and one of those should be "add shortcut to home", select that and then it will add a shortcut to one of your home screens.

thanks worked great one more question. i have apps on my home page and twins on the back pages how can i get rid of the extras? tried to drag them in the trash but it take me to the home page and i am afraid i will delete both.

If you get the question - do you wish to uninstall, click no. This will only delete the shortcut from the home screens. If it deletes the icon from all of your home screens, just re-add on the correct screen that you want by opening your app tray and long press, drag and drop to the correct home screen.

if i long click on the extra icon and drag it to the trash it does not trash it. it is still there

Are you stock or rooted? What home app are you using? I remember seeing a thread on this before - try a forum search for duplicate icons/app. I would but I am not at my computer - I think is an easy fix tho...sorry I am not more help.

Just thought of a couple of things - Have you tried a battery pull? Also, when you are dragging to the trash is the trash / app both turning red before you let go?

This is a dumb question but are you sure that the trash can turns red when you drag the icon to it?
