uptime / awake time

Hi.

Anyone seeing their uptime and awake time almost identical?

my uptime: 27h awake time: 23h
I obviously didnt have the phone display going for 23hrs...

if i can track this down, im sure my battery will last alot longer.. i havent had major battery issues but something is keeping my TB away, it seems.

Im thinking there is something running continually in the background sometimes. I set a profile in setcpu to run at the lowest clock setting when display is off and my battery life improved quite a noticeable amount.

UP time is the amount of time since the phone booted. Once you reboot your phone, the times will be the same until you charge the phone.

can you run setcpu without being rooted.. i own that app, but i havent rooted my TB.

I have the same problem and I can't find an answer. My normal usage is pretty good actually. It's when it's off especially at night that this thing runs all the way down every night. I have Setcpu with a low profile for screen off but when I slide it down it stays up at 1024 anyway so I don't think it's working anyway. I'm at a loss here.

i might just uninstall a bunch of apps and games.. and just have the standard apps i had on my INC.

Hmm...mine doesn't slide back when I set it at the lowest slot, it sticks. Ever since I set it that way I barely lose any charge at all when the screens off.

found my rogue app..

FN bejeweled 2.. user error.. i paused the game and closed out.. it kept running most likely..

i uninstalled a bunch of apps.. and then reinstalled Bejeweled.. the app needs access to the sys tools TO KEEP IT FROM SLEEPING.. no more pausing.. even if im on a roll.. ALWAYS EXIT.. doh..
