Mass confusion on what it does, but it seems to make it unrootable...but you retain root if you had it. Maybe. Seems to be just some lg fixes. Version C.

More details now that the dust has settled. You can maintain root when you update and you can flash back to the previous version.

The bootloader unlock on the new version is unknown but done you can flash back it doesn't really matter.
