Uot safe?

Now that we have root, is it safe to edit our framework-res files using the UOT Kitchen? Normally you boot into recovery to flash the zip file but couldnt we just put the modded file onto our sd card and move it to the location of the original?

Being that there is no recovery, I wouldn't do it.

Second the no recovery factor. There is to much that could go wrong and without a recovery you could find yourself in permanent force closes with no way to fix that without a back up.
