Unresponsive TB this morning

I flashed the new radio for gingerbread, along with the release from jcase the latest "stock" release of the rooted rom - Gingerjane. I setup everything fine, the phone seems fine now.

But to the actual problem.

When I woke up this morning, (I went to sleep with atleast 70% battery) the phone was completely unresponsive when I woke up. I tried manually booting into the boot loader, letting the phone sit on the charger for 10 or so mins, holding the power for 20+ seconds. It wasn't until I did a battery pull that I could get it to boot. Anyone run into anything similar to this? I've read alot about random reboots, I've never had problems with that. But this one kind of stumped me. Thanks for all your input. P.S. Will report back if it does it again. It could be a firmware/kernel/gingerbread alpha problem, or an actual hardware problem. Who knows.

My thunderbolt has shutdown a couple times requiring a battery pull. It hasn't happened in a few weeks now, I don't remember the kernel/Rom combinations I was running at the time(but at least one time was unrooted stock). My biggest concern is that I use my phone as my only alarm clock and I will not be a happy camper if I am late to work due to a phone. Maybe I should use my OG as my alarm clock.

Strange indeed. I'm thinking the phone is having problems coming out of its sleep state. I'm back on das bamf 2.0 under their custom kernel. Seems great now. Would still like others input. Probably a kernel sleep/wake issue.
