Unlocking Droid Maxx?

Need help hacking in to my 15 year old phone. He refuses to give me the passcode so that I can install parenting application from verizon. The phone is a Motorola Droid Maxx. Is there a way to get past this without losing all the data?

I'm gonna be blunt & honest; You won't get much help hacking in to someone's phone on this forum, the staff won't allow it. You could be telling the truth that it's your son phone. Be we can't be too sure.
