Just after the release of the HTC 10 we found out that the unlocked version of the device that was being sold through HTC's website supported bands for Verizon. We also found out that Verizon decided to blacklist those devices in favor of their own carrier branded devices. I had a feeling that the developers would quickly cook up a way for us to use the unlocked version of the 10 on Verizon, and I was right!

"Dottat" along with the help of a few others has figured out a way to get this going. This does require that you be bootloader unlocked, rooted, have S-Off and stay S-OFF as long as you on Verizon. Once you have met the above requirements all you have to do is flash Verizon's radio in fastboot mode, and then enter the secret menu to change the option to "CDMA/EvDOGSM/WCDMA/LTE Auto".

You will then insert your already activated sim card into the device. This will only work if you already have a working sim. For now Advanced calling features won't work, but those should come as soon as devs have some time to tinker with this setup. Returning back to unlocked should be as easy as flashing an Unlocked stock image. Grab the radio from the link below.
