Unlock phone

Does anyone know of any app that can unlock your phone other than using the unlock pattern? My phone needs a different look.

It would be nice to have a gallery of unlock options even though I really like the regular unlock pattern. Some ideas...

-Various keypad designs to "disarm" the device.
-Don't know if the Droid has the accuracy or capability to read fingerprints but obviously that'd be leet as hell.
-A combination lock would be awesome looking, but tedious to do every time the screen goes out.
-Simple password field?
-Finger drawn unlock gestures?
-Voice recognition

What might also be cool if you had some seriously private info on your Android device (or are just incredibly paranoid) would be the ability to set the lock option to random, presenting a different unlock requirement each time.

Can someone please help me.
I bought a motorola droid 2 global from ebay and I want to unlock it.
I called Verizon and i ask them if i can get the unlock code so I can use it in Canada.
Since I live in Canada and I dont have a Verizon # they wouldnt want to unlock it for me :(. I paid so much money for it too :(. I called them several time.
The Verizon customer rep are really stupid. One of them , I ask him if i can get the unlock code. he tells me its illegal :S.

Can someone on behalf of me with a Verizon account call Verizon to get the sim unlock code.? Please
I will provide the IMEI #

Thanks

Try wiping data to reset the phone to it's factory settings:

1. Power down the DROID 2 by holding the power button and then selecting Power Off

2. Hold the X key on the keyboard and turn the power back on, keep holding down the X key until you see a yellow triangle icon

3. Now close the slider and hold down the Volume Up button, then press the Camera button while still holding volume up

4. A menu will appear and one of the choices will be "wipe data/factory reset" -- use the direction pad on they keyboard to select this option
Scroll down using the direction pad to the "yes" option and select it with the d-pad select key

If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the Motorola DROID 2. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.
