I'm patiently waiting for the bionic, and travel in the car a lot with kids. We've gone through several DVD players and they all die sooner or later - ususally the DVD player parts, and not the screen. I'd love to connect my phone to a larger screen and use the solid-state memory instead of a DVD. Has anyone heard of a portable LCD screen or DVD player that accepts HDMI input? Everything is Composite and I don't want to add an adaptor to the mix (only so many power sources in a car). Any suggestions besides getting a tablet?

Thanks in advance.

Problem is screen quality. Hard to see the difference in quality in that size. Also, if I recall correctly, all items with HDMI have to pay Intel license fees. Intel created the encryption.

...and the possibility of DRM on HDMI means that you won't necessarily be able to output everything via HDMI.

That's the least of the problems.
