Recently I have been having an issue when I download certain apps. It will download with no problem, but as soon as it switches into the install phase I get an "installation unsuccessful", then if I click on that it reads "Installation error Unknown reason - 18" I called verizon, ended up doing a factory reset on my phone and then the dude gave up and sent me a replacement phone. So I went through all that and this is still happening. I dont believe it to be app specific because the verizon guy was able to install it, plus in the comments other people with a droid X had no issues. Any ideas??

Tell us which apps, what version of the OS you're on, if you're rooted, and anything else that might help us diagnose this for you, please.
Do you have the phone set to install to sdcard? Change it to install to internal.
