With more cores comes more power, and also a dip in battery life. A new app has been made available by developer "SeaSkyWays". The Quad Core Manager App allows you to optimize your processor for the best possible battery life. This app requires root permissions. QCM features include Manual Core Controls (this will enable you to turn off cores by simply pressing a button), Persistant Mode (Some cores are managed in a frantic way persistant mode won't allow anyone or anything to change the cores statuses except this app giving you ultimate control), ACO0 (This turns off cores when you aren't using them IE screen off), Start On Boot (Saves you time by making these settings each time the phone turns on), and much more! Check out this app from the source link below.

Hmmm this could take Samsung's Power Saving mode to the next level on my s4. Maybe I'll check it out. Haven't had the need to really stretch out my battery life yet, but seems interesting and useful.

Im with you on that. I have never ran out of juice or had to recharge on my Galaxy S4 yet! I actually had a 16.5 hour work day last week and went home with over 20% battery left.

I'm at 25hrs with 50% left. I use Greenify and BatteryGuru and that seems to be working wonders. I could only dream of got this kinda battery life with my Nexus.
