U-Verse Live TV for Verizon?

I am curious whether anybody has used the U-Verse Live TV app on Verizon. I know that the current Application is purely for AT&T (grrr...) and I have this beautiful Thunderbolt that cannot use this app. I also know that people have hacked the U-Verse app that allows one to program their DVR, view the channel guide, and even download some shows directly to the phone, so I am wondering if the live TV app is also being "reverse-engineered" so that others (not on AT&T's network) can also use it.
