Txt issue?

I am having issue with one text message that is about 2 months old showing under contact but does not show in messages. Phone receives the message everytime a txt is deleted from messages. If I go under appropriate contact and try to open message my phone freezes and deleting isn't an option under the menu.

Are you rooted or no?

Have you tried to clear the cashe?

Have you reset the device?
