Two questions about handscent

I've been playing with handscent for a while now, and I'm wondering if these two options are available.

1) Using preexisting droid wallpapers as the background. I realize using my own pictures is possible, but not sure about preexisting wallpapers.

2) Is there a way I can get my text messages sent counter to reset automatically on a certain date? I know I can manually reset it, automatic would be nice and one less thing I'll have to remember to do.

1) You could if you had the stock wallpapers saved on your SD card. Not sure how to do this however.
2) I don't believe it has a 'timer' for the message count. Has to be done manually for now.
