Tweetcaster 1.8: Has Anyone Figured out the Facebook Integration?

Release notes state that Facebook integration is included, but I can't find anything in the settings (other than a grayed-out "Clear Facebook Data" option. If anyone has figured how to use this new functionality, please advise.

Thanks!

Droid: TweetCaster, and Facebook do CONNECT!

Ok, I just installed TweetCaster, and I was wondering how I could get it to connect to Facebook so updates would be streamlined. I couldn't figure it out, and so I cam here, lol.

But, while I was waiting on the page to load, I figured it out! Here's how I did it:

  1. Open TweetCaster on your Droid (or other device).
  2. Add account (I have two). A small FB icon will appear at the bottom left of the screen, next to the Twitter icon.
  3. Connect to Facebook online with the account that you want to use.
  4. Go to Application Settings in Facebook (Mac user here), and ALLOW Twitter to connect to Facebook.
  5. Bookmark Twitter in Facebook.
  6. Sign into Twitter from that Facebook bookmark. Make sure that your e-mail address that you connect to both TweetCaster and Facebook are the same (since I have multiple accounts, this is where I messed up).
  7. That should do it! I'm testing it now...
Let's see if it works!

Oh, one thing. Mine wasn't working because I had protected tweets. So, you would have to uncheck that selection within the application.

Silly me:

"Oops! Something went wrong:
  • Protected Twitter users may not use the Facebook application for privacy reasons. Please visit the account settings page on Twitter and uncheck the "Protect my updates" box if you would like to use this application."

Me either. Title says 1.8, my version is 1.9, wonder if they removed it when the updated. Would really like the feature, as I like Tweetcaster, but am missing SocialScope from my recently departed BB, and can't find anything that takes it place. FriendStream, tweetcaster, some come close, but nothing compares.

Im on the lastest Tweetcaster, 1.9. I see a Facebook option in my Tweetcaster settings, but its grayed out?
