Turn off or close Facebook chat window?

Anybody know the trick for closing the chat popup on Facebook when using my Droid?
Better yet...a way to turn it off altogether?

What chat popup? Facebook for Android currently doesn't support chat.

I'm guessing you're using a browser with desktop agent to access the desktop Facebook... best thing I've found is to just make sure I close all chat windows before I end a desktop session or just use touch.facebook.com.
