Trying to get wifi with root

I'm following that guide and when I get to the steps to install tethering, the links go to a "Not found on this server" on google's page. anyone have any working links?
It says download the links from Downloads - android-wifi-tether - Project Hosting on Google Code
but all 3 links appear to be broken on that site

When I did try saving that file and putting on my phone, it says it had an error parsing when installing, so I'm guessing its because that link is invalid

What rom are you using. On most of the new roms you just have to check it off as an option to install.

Still not working. I've tried with pre7 and pre3 with no luck. Anyone else successful with wifi tethering?

Damnit, I got it. Didnt know it was only to pretend as a router. Thought it worked over USB
