whats going on got a question about the eris dont know if ithas been asked all ready but if u are looking at the screen at the top left corner there is wat looks to be a light or somtihng anybody know wat this is. Its write next to the headset speaker on left

There is a light to the right of the speaker. What you are asking about is the sensor to the left of speaker. It is a sensor so that when you are on the phone turns screen off so your face can't cause buttons to be pushed.

Its a light sensor so it knows when to brighten the screen.
