I recently picked up a motorola droid (it was on sale at best buy haha) and it is only updated to 2.0.1. When I first got the phone best buy failed to activate my service so I took it to my local verizon store and they gave me service and yadda yadda yadda. He also told me that I should have an update to 2.2 sometime in the near future and about a month later I still have not been able to update my phone. So I tried manually installing the update and came with a status 7 error on multiple occasions. Anyone got any ideas on how I can "force" my phone to be able to receive he 2.2 update or anything without having to download pirated version of it? Thanks in advance!
