Trouble with phone

After upgrading with Froyo, I have experienced trouble with my phone. I have a Droid X. The trouble I have is when I dial a number, I get a connect tone, but I cannot hear my connecting party nor can they hear me. I have found that shutting the phone down then restarting will help, but has anyone experienced this issue?

I have had a DX since day 1, and never had that problem, but now that I have updated to 2.2 it is happening to me too. Help!
