Trouble with incoming calls...

I haven't even had this phone for a day yet so I wouldn't be surprised if it's just me being illiterate with this phone... But yeah, whenever my phone is locked, my phone won't ring and whoever calls me gets my voice mail. It it possible to make it so that when someone calls my locked phone, my phone alerts me somehow so I can get to it?

Sorry if this question was already answered, I tried searching the forums for a similar question but didn't find one...
