Trouble sending pics

Hey guys,
Bit of a noob here so excuce me if this has been addressed.
I'm using Handcent SMS for texting. My problem is that it will not send pix. It goes through the motions but they never send. Anyone else with this problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

Seems that the problem is the wifi. When it is off the pix send rather quickly.
