Trouble connecting bluetooth

Can anyone tell me how to connect a plantronics bluetooth to my DROIDX?

Has it been paired yet?. In you bluetooth settings does it show the plantronics device listed as paired?

Ok what I tell you is not specific to you situation and may be worthless to you. I have experience with different bluetooth devices with android os.

Try this:

Make sure the bluetooth is off on your phone and the headset is off as well. First turn on the heatset according to the manufacturers instructions you may have, which is likely that you have hold down a particular button for a few seconds. Next turn on the bluetooth on the phone. It should connect after several seconds. It should connect saying that it is connected to phone or media or both.
