Transferring apps to sd card

I was trying to transfer most of my downloaded apps to my sd card and most of them wouldnt work... The option would just be grayed out... Anybody have any ideas as to why this is happening?

The APP has to be written to support it moving.

Could be a damaged SD card. If you dropped the phone or had any sort of heating or water damage, your card might not work properly.

Yes, Internal memory is a lot quicker than the fastest sdcards.
And do you need more than 2gb of app space?

I'm on Jacob's thought process. It makes your phone slower? Hadn't read that one yet. Anyone else with insight?
