Transfer Pictures

Simply drag and drop them on the desk top. Make sure you mount your phone to your computer first.

It sounds so simple but what is the name of the folder for photos stored on the Droid's SD card? I'm on an iMac running OS X 10.6.2. Need to transfer a bunch of photos and bluetoothing one by one is too slow. I load my droid's SD card and see folders full of app [stuff] but where's the pics?

Anybody know?

Aha! My folder is labeled just dcim. I'd have never guessed. Thank you LifeIsABeach! Life is definitely good again :D

You can transfer the pictures over wifi too

I got tired of transferring the pictures and videos manually from my Droid over USB. So I developed an app to transfer the pictures AND videos wirelessly to your computer using file sharing. The app is called 'Image Transfer' and I made a demo video here: Image Transfer
