Touchscreen problems with Motorola Droid

Has anyone had any issues with the Droid screen not reacting correctly to touch. I has been happeining off and on lately, more on then off. The bottom of the screen will not react at all to touch and i am forced to slide out the keyboard and use the cursor to navigate through the menu's. also the bottom quick refrerence keys will not respond correctly as well. I have called tech support and they just want to send a new phone? I have the latest updates as well. If anyone has the same problems, let me know. thanks

If they want to send you a new phone I say let em. It could be defective.
